The theme of this 10 hour home study course is to educate wellness professionals (fitness and athletic trainers, nutrition counselors and dietitians) about the practices and techniques of coaching, and help them incorporate effective coaching techniques in their current wellness practices.
Incorporating Nutrition
This 24 credit hour home study course provides details on how to incorporate nutrition services into a fitness/wellness program. Discussion centers on determining nutrition needs, legal issues, types of services, and a detailed template of how to construct individual programs, group programs, and youth programs. Upon completion of this course students have the option to register for the Nutrition Specialist Certification exam.
The Business of Nutrition
The Business of Nutrition is a 5 hour home study course designed to help fitness professionals feel confident and capable in attracting new business. This course is a must for individuals serious about earning an income when incorporating nutrition services into their wellness program.
